SuperFlex™
Endoscopic Wire-reinforced Channels

International Polymer Engineering's Wire-Reinforced Endoscopic Working Channels (EWC) are constructed with an inner layer of solid PTFE while the outer layer is a porous PTFE with a stainless steel ribbon spiral support incorporated into the wall structure for additional radial support. The outer PTFE layer and the stainless steel ribbon act like a spring wrap providing kink and compression resistance.

The inherent lubricity of the PTFE inner layer allows instruments to pass freely with minimal drag. Both the inner and outer layer of material has a long history of use in medical applications and has a Class VI implant rating. The finished channels maintain integrity throughout sterilization procedures and allow flex angles up to 210 degrees. Click here for standard sizes.
